BOOK CRANNY TRADE POLICY

We invite you to bring in your gently used books for trade.

INVENTORY: In general we prefer newer titles, classical literature and current textbooks in good condition. Due to space limitations, we may have to turn down good quality books. Your books will be checked against our current needs.

OUR_CREDIT_POLICY: We issue trade credit based on the current demand and sale-ability of a book. Our credit is not based solely on the original list price of a book. In some circumstances we will purchase books for cash. In general our store credits are more generous than cash.

USE_OF_CREDIT: Store credit can be used for up to half the price of a book. You can use your store credit for about 95% of the books in our store. Store credit cannot be used for new books, books in high demand or non-book merchandise. Credit accounts may not be “cashed out” and will expire after one (1) year of inactivity.

ADDITIONAL_INFORMATION: Please bring in a maximum of four boxes of books at a time. For large book collections we may arrange to come to your location. During busy times (i.e. Saturdays) we may not have the time to look through your books and you may need to leave your books and return at a later date.
